Clear service terms.
Standard service terms, version 2026-10-29. This site currently takes no orders, payments or contract acceptance. A binding written order must identify the contracting seller and project specification. These terms describe the service offered when an order is accepted.
1. Service and package limits
NOBOCO Sites provides custom website production and recurring care for companies and sole proprietors. NOBOCO is your single contact for requirements, content collection, approvals and support; its development partner handles design, development and technical work under NOBOCO’s coordination. Each website is designed for the customer’s business. The examples illustrate possibilities and are not fixed templates or a promise of every demonstrated feature.
Starter includes one Japanese page, up to 8 content sections. Business includes 3–5 distinct pages, each in Japanese and English (up to 10 localized pages). Pro includes up to 10 distinct pages, each in Japanese and English (up to 20 localized pages), plus one news CMS collection and entry of up to 10 customer-supplied articles in total. Article detail pages using that collection’s single layout do not count toward the 10-page limit. Legal pages count as pages, except that Starter may include one additional plain-text legal notice using the same site styling.
All plans include responsive layout, navigation, inquiry links to the customer’s email or existing booking service, page titles/descriptions, HTTPS and launch checks. Business and Pro include language switching; translation and copywriting are not included. A visitor-submission form, store, user accounts, custom search, integrations, advanced animation and custom business systems require a separate quote. No bespoke backend is included beyond Pro’s one news collection.
2. Content, revisions and production
You supply approved text, translations, logos, images and lawful usage rights. Initial content entry within the agreed page/article limits is included. Two consolidated pre-launch revision rounds are included within the approved brief. A round is one collected set of comments; a new design direction, extra pages or new functions require an approved quote.
Indicative production after setup payment, receipt of complete materials and approval of scope: Starter 2–3 weeks; Business 4–6 weeks; Pro 6–10 weeks. A project-specific start date and target launch date are confirmed in writing before paid work starts. These are calendar-week estimates, with work on business days. Customer delays and approved scope changes shift the schedule; NOBOCO communicates revised dates rather than silently treating a site as accepted.
Please return consolidated feedback within 5 business days of each review. If materials or feedback are missing for 20 business days, the project may be paused after written notice and rescheduled to the next available slot. Final checks cover the agreed pages, links, mobile layout and language switching where included. Publication requires your explicit approval; silence does not count as approval.
3. Prices, billing and minimum term
Prices excluding tax: Starter ¥19,800 setup + ¥9,900/month; Business ¥39,800 setup + ¥19,900/month; Pro ¥79,800 setup + ¥39,900/month. At 10% tax, the setup-plus-12-month totals are ¥152,460, ¥306,460 and ¥614,460 respectively. Approved extras are additional. Any legally required different tax treatment is disclosed before contract acceptance.
The setup fee is due after written order acceptance and before production. Monthly billing starts on the customer-approved publication date, not during production. The first monthly fee is due at launch; subsequent fees are due in advance on the same date each month (or the last day of a shorter month). The 12-month minimum starts at launch. There is no partial-period proration when cancelling at a billing-period boundary.
After the initial 12 months, service renews one month at a time at the contracted price. A future price change requires at least 60 days’ written notice and applies only after the minimum term, allowing cancellation before it takes effect. Monthly card billing is planned, but this website currently accepts no payments or orders. Before a binding order, the written order must identify the seller, customer, scope, dates, charges and these terms.
4. Monthly updates and support
Starter includes 30 minutes, Business 1 hour and Pro 2 hours per monthly billing period, starting at launch. This is one shared allowance per website, including all languages. It covers small changes to existing text, images, links, business details and client-supplied news in an existing layout, plus brief technical guidance.
Time is recorded in 15-minute increments per consolidated work session, including technical assessment, implementation and checking. Time spent updating both language versions counts toward the same allowance. Unused time expires at the end of the billing period; it cannot be carried over, refunded or exchanged. NOBOCO advises if a request is likely to exceed the remaining allowance and obtains approval before extra work.
Extra work is ¥10,000/hour excluding tax (¥11,000 including 10% tax), in 15-minute increments, or a separately approved fixed quote. No extra work is charged without written approval. New pages, redesigns, functions, copywriting, translation and marketing fall outside the allowance.
Support is through info@nobo-consulting.com on weekdays 09:00–18:00 Japan time, excluding Japanese public holidays and notified closures. First-response targets are within 2 business days for Starter and Business, and 1 business day for Pro. These are response targets, not resolution guarantees. There is no 24/7, phone or after-hours service included. Routine maintenance and correction of defects in NOBOCO’s delivered work do not consume your update allowance.
5. Hosting, domains and routine maintenance
The monthly fee includes hosting for the agreed informational website, HTTPS/SSL, one standard domain with registration/renewal cost up to ¥3,000 per year excluding tax, monthly checks of key pages and links, and applicable security updates for components managed by NOBOCO. One site backup is retained after each managed change and at least weekly for a managed CMS, with 30-day retention. Restoration of the last available clean backup for a fault in NOBOCO-managed services is included.
NOBOCO purchases and administers the domain on your behalf, with you as registrant where the registry permits. Premium domains, amounts above the ¥3,000 annual allowance and paid external services require prior written approval. An existing domain may be used, but an existing registrar bill remains your responsibility unless administration is transferred; no cash credit replaces the included allowance. Business email hosting and mailbox migration are excluded.
Routine care is separate from requested update hours. Third-party outages are investigated during support hours; restoration depends on the relevant supplier. New remediation caused by a customer’s changes or a third-party system outside the managed scope is quoted before work. No continuous human monitoring, penetration testing or guaranteed uptime is included. The service does not guarantee search rankings, traffic, inquiries or sales.
6. Cancellation, renewal and refunds
Email info@nobo-consulting.com from the registered contact address to request cancellation. Give at least 30 calendar days’ notice before the desired billing-period end. During the initial minimum term, ordinary cancellation takes effect no earlier than the end of month 12. Monthly payments and service continue until that effective date; the remaining balance is not automatically charged as a lump sum. After month 12, cancellation takes effect at the first monthly period-end at least 30 days after notice. No new 12-month commitment is imposed.
Before production starts, a cancelled setup payment is refunded less only evidenced, non-recoverable third-party costs approved in advance. Once production starts, the setup fee is earned in proportion to documented work completed, capped at the setup fee; any unearned remainder is refunded. Monthly payments for service already provided are not refunded; prepaid full periods after the effective cancellation date are refunded. No separate cancellation penalty is added.
If either party materially breaches the agreement, the other may give written notice and 14 calendar days to remedy it, then terminate if it remains unresolved. A customer ending service for an unremedied material provider breach is not required to pay for future service periods. Where NOBOCO permanently stops the service, unprovided prepaid service is refunded and an export is offered. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
For overdue payments, NOBOCO sends a reminder and allows 14 calendar days to remedy before suspending service with notice. Suspension does not constitute acceptance of cancellation or authorize an additional penalty. Restoration follows receipt of overdue amounts and a reasonable technical check.
7. Ownership, handover and data retention
Your supplied content remains yours or its lawful rights holder’s. During the paid subscription you may use the delivered site for your business. Once setup and the initial 12 monthly fees are paid, rights in customer-specific original design and code transfer to you to the extent owned by NOBOCO. Reusable tools, libraries, frameworks, fonts, stock assets and other third-party components retain their existing ownership and licenses; you receive the rights needed to use the delivered site subject to those licenses.
After the minimum term and payment of outstanding amounts, one standard source/content export and domain transfer authorization are supplied at no additional fee within 10 business days of a verified request. The export contains available customer-specific source, assets and CMS content in native/standard formats; platform credentials and non-transferable third-party licenses are excluded. A replacement host may need a compatible CMS or separate licenses. Installation on another host, redesign and migration assistance are optional work at the published extra-work rate.
You can move an existing customer-owned domain at any time, subject to registry locks and verified authority; domain transfer does not itself cancel payment obligations. Hosting ends on the effective cancellation date. Arrange the export and destination host beforehand to avoid downtime. If the contract ends before the initial 12 months because of NOBOCO’s unremedied material breach, the available work already paid for and domain access are provided without requiring payment for unprovided future service.
Operational copies are deleted within 30 days after service ends; backup copies expire within a further 30 days. Contract, invoice and legally required records are retained separately for the applicable statutory period. Export files already downloaded by you are under your control.
8. Confidentiality, responsibility and disputes
Both parties protect confidential information and use it only for the project. NOBOCO may use a development partner under confidentiality obligations and remains the customer’s service contact. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of supplied content. Passwords and secrets must be shared only through an agreed secure channel, never through these preview forms.
NOBOCO will correct reproducible defects against the agreed scope without charging update hours. External-service limitations are explained before an affected function is agreed. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence or mandatory legal rights; any project-specific liability allocation must be expressly stated in the written contract.
Japanese law applies, subject to mandatory protections. Parties first seek a good-faith resolution; absent a separate valid jurisdiction agreement, proceedings follow the ordinarily competent court. The Japanese service terms control in the event of a translation discrepancy, without overriding mandatory rights. A written, mutually accepted project specification may expressly vary these standard terms.
Personal information
The contact form opens your email application with a message addressed to info@nobo-consulting.com. No message is sent until you review and send it in that application; your email provider then handles delivery under its own terms. The optional Copy message button copies the entered inquiry to your clipboard only. This website does not automatically submit or save your entries. The project questionnaire remains a local JSON download/import tool and transmits no information. Keep downloaded files and clipboard contents secure. No analytics or advertising cookies have been introduced.
For service questions, cancellation or privacy inquiries, contact info@nobo-consulting.com. Emails you choose to send are used to answer the inquiry and administer the related project, not to enroll you automatically in marketing. Customer project information is shared with the development partner only as needed for delivery under confidentiality obligations.
Operational project copies are deleted within 30 days after service ends, and backup copies expire within a further 30 days; contract, invoice and legally required records are retained for the applicable statutory period. You may request access, correction or deletion by email, subject to identity verification and required record retention.
The optional booking link opens Calendly, which handles information entered there under its own notices. Opening the link does not book a meeting. No card information is collected here. Before any live intake or payment service is enabled, its actual data controller details, processors, storage locations and payment handling will be disclosed.
